I had not done art for myself for AGES and I also hadn\'t done art of this particular character in over a year. I wanted an image which I could make into a bookmark and thought I\'d meld both urges together. However, this came out being more than the \'quick sketch\' project I intended ^^;
Once I started drawing I couldn\'t stop - it was fun to do all the folds and fabric and lushness for a change and every king needs a coronation picture!
The character, for anyone who\'s interested, is one I used to play way back - my first ever RP character in fact. His species are kinda supposed to be what would have happened if bird species had evolved a humanoid form. I\'m very attatched to Avis Rapax (where my username comes from obv.)
